    1. It looks like the only politically realistic (mutually face-saving) way out of the wall shutdown is for Trump to invoke emergency powers, which would most likely keep lawyers and judges busier than construction workers. nytimes.com/2019/01/09/us/politics/government-shutdown-trump-senate.html
