I suspect most ordinary people don't even know its House of Delegates takes positions on anything. People know more about its judicial vetting arm, which doesn't take normative political positions/1

@OrinKerr @FedSoc @acslaw Movement conservatives like to dismiss occasional bad ratings for GOP nominees on temperament/qualifications as political rather than good faith, aided by fact that Dem presidents let ABA vet pre-nomination so its occasional dingings of liberals on same grounds stay secret./2
