  1. n 2005, I was dealing w/ stage IV cancer & went on a clinical trial. The tumors stopped growing! But I was on the sugar pill. w/out scientific studies, anecdotes about some people getting better after taking hydroxychloroquine mean nothing. Some people would get better anyway.

        Thinking more about this bad hydroxychloroquine data out of the V.A., a problem is it's not a scientific study either. I would not be surprised if the patients who were given it were disproportionately already at death's door - a hail mary. (Anecdote is a double-edged sword?)
