    After the Snowden leaks, I analyzed FISA court appointments and discovered that Chief Justice Roberts had stacked the court. All 11 of the FISA judges at that moment were Republican-selected judges. This is from my book Power Wars. /2

      @SenBlumenthal proposed legislation to break up that concentrated power and ensure greater ideological diversity on who becomes a FISA Court judge, but the idea didn't get traction in that reform moment and faded away. /3
