@normative @AthertonKD What is the "it" that exists? It seems to be memoryholed that the legacy Newsweek newsroom is the Daily Beast, which merged with it & then sold off the defunct brand name to IBT. Like today's "Schwinn" bicycles are just a random Chinese factory that bought the nameplate.
