Side note: it's weird in "It's a Wonderful Life" that the pharmacist's kid dies in the 1918-19 Spanish Flu pandemic, as he learns in a telegram, but no one in Bedford Falls seems to be wearing a mask or otherwise affected.

Side side note: Wife @luizachsavage was just reading Stephen King's "The Stand" and its lack of anyone wearing a mask during a pandemic, even hospital professionals, kept foiling her suspended disbelief.
