@McDeereUSA @rossgarber Back of envelope: Let's say there are 55 votes to convict (Dems plus Collins, Murkowski, Romney, Sasse, and Toomey); then 18 Rs would have to sit it out for that to work. Maybe a retiring Portman joins, then it's 16. Hard to see it.
