      @GraysonClary Yes but accounting fluke is not right term; use of drones on a hot battlefield isn't an issue. The ordinary and well established law of war applies to targeting in war zones, regardless of platform used. /1

    @GraysonClary Beyond how ISIS was a huge magnet that pulled jihadis to the Syria/Iraq war zone & so drone strikes dried up in the non-war zones of Pakistan & Yemen, another complexity: while there's few US troops in Somalia today, in 2017, Trump declared it a war zone. nytimes.com/2017/03/30/world/africa/trump-is-said-to-ease-combat-rules-in-somalia-designed-to-protect-civilians.html
