      1. Supreme Court denied cert in Abdul Razak Ali v Biden, a Guantanamo due-process case. Kavanaugh and Gorsuch recused. (h/t @JoshMBlackman). They don't say why, but Kavanaugh heard Gitmo habeas cases as an appellate judge & Gorsuch worked on Detainee Treatment Act in Bush43 admin.

    Here's a story I wrote in 2017 about Gorsuch and Guantanamo, which opens with his celebrating a law passed in 2005 by Congress (later struck down), on which he had worked, that purported to bar courts from hearing Gitmo detainees' habeas corpus lawsuits. nytimes.com/2017/03/15/us/politics/neil-gorsuch-torture-guantanamo-bay.html
