      Specifically, Trump's lawyers filed in Fort Lauderdale -- not Cannon's courthouse in Fort Pierce (or West Palm Beach, like I mistakenly said today). I remembered there were receipts in the docket, but misremembered which was the salient one. It's this (literal) one. /2

    To make sure I wasn't crazy, I asked the head clerk of the courts for the Southern District of Florida, Angela Noble, where the lawsuit was filed and how it got to Cannon. Here is what she wrote me. /end
