  1. As @kyledcheney already noted, Judge Howell rejected the request by NYT & Politico that she unseal ancillary stuff related to the Jan 6 grand jury.       Later last night the court released Judge Howell's opinion explaining her ruling that she lacks authority to release the materials (briefs and rulings about Trump's residual executive privilege powers or lack thereof).
