My teenaged son told me that no one under the age of 25, regardless of political viewpoint, now uses the term “woke” unless they are being ironic. Apparently it has already migrated to the stale-slang category that signals you are old and out of touch. Youngs: Is this correct?On twitter.com

To be clear I don't mean the positive usage as in progressives earnestly saying "stay woke" to each other, which is obviously long gone; I mean the pejorative usage of "woke," as in what used to be called "politically correct" when now-fusty GenXers like me were the youngs.Permalink On twitter.com
